お化けカボチャ購入!!
本日、待ちに待ったお化けカボチャを購入。
実は、1ヶ月前から某スーパーマーケットに依頼していたものだ。昨年は、依頼して半月後には、到着したのだが、今年は待てど暮らせど連絡が来なかった。
「いったいどうしたのかなあ？」などとのんびり構えていたら、先週木曜日に電話が来た。以下スーパーのお兄ちゃんと私との会話。
お兄ちゃん：遅れて申しわけありません。実は、今年は市場に出回って来ないんですよ。
私：はあ。
お兄ちゃん：それで、いろんな取引先に電話をしてところ、皆今年から作るの止めちゃったらしいんですよ。
私：はあ。
お兄ちゃん：北海道の農家を当たって、ようやっとお化けカボチャ手に入れました!! で、お客様お急ぎのようだったので、宅急便で取り寄せました。
私：はあ。
お兄ちゃん：で、本来なら宅急便代だけでも、相当かかってしまうのですが、お客様には去年も買っていただいているし、いつもお買い物にも来て頂いているので、もう原価で結構です!!
私：あっ、ありがとうございます!!(内心躍り上がらんばかりのうれしさ)
お兄ちゃんの懐も痛まないらしいし、私も目的のモノを当初の見積もり価格でget出来たので万々歳!!
慌てる乞食はもらいが少ない、というのは正にこのこと。待ってて良かったあ。ルンルン。
さあ、今年もイベントにお化けカボチャを登場させるぞ!!
あっ、今週からお楽しみ小ジャコランタンのカービングが始まります!!
