目と耳からの情報
A momから「二行会話」の関連性の質問があった。
以前紹介した松香の教材だが、A momはCDのみ持っているのだが、テキストは購入していなかった。CDで英語の会話とその意味も言っているのだが、どんなつながりがあるのか疑問だったようだ。
そもそも、前の会話と次の会話には全く関連性はなく、まさしく二行会話完結型。例えば、"Hi."に対して"Hello."という会話があり、その次は"Thank you." "You're welcome."と続く。
テキストを見ていないA momにとって、何かお話しがあって、それに対して会話が続いているのではないか、と疑問が沸いたようだ。
「耳から聞く」こともとても大切なことだが、「目で見る」ことも合わせて行うと、情報が一致しやすく、頭にすーっと入ってくる。テキストを「見る」ことで余分な説明をすることもなく、状況を飲み込めてしまうのだ。
絵本でも全く同じ事がいえる。わからない単語やセンテンスが出てきても、絵を見て推測・判断することができる。そして、何回も同じ単語やセンテンスが出てくると、それが何をいっているのか、絵と見比べながら理解してしまうことも可能だ。
さて、今日はこの「二行会話」を耳を塞がんばかりので〜っかい声で、皆が披露してくれた。家で全て制覇したY君は自信満々。あと制覇まで３つというところまで来ているMちゃんも負けじと声をはりあげる。それに挟まれたRちゃんもつられて大きな声を出し…。ワイルドトリオは本日も元気いっぱい!!
それぞれのghostを画いて切って…
