Petty Sweet Potate
今日はお待ちかねCooking day!! お芋を使ったおいしいスナックを作りました。
後日ホームページのPLAY LANDにレシピ掲載します。お楽しみに!!
主な材料はもちろんsweet potato(さつま芋)。今月の習得単語に入ってます。ちなみに今月の単語はpear(梨)、persimmon(柿)、mushroom(きのこ)、leaf(葉)、acorn(どんぐり)、chestnut(栗)、worm(虫・ミミズ系)もあります。
11の段階を踏んで「Petty Sweet Potate」が出来上がります。「Put it in!!あれ入れて、これ入れて」、「Mush!!潰して」「Mix!!混ぜ混ぜして」とスムーズ!?に運んでいきます。なんといってもこどもたちはcookingが大好き。いつものレッスンの3倍位熱心かなあ(爆)。私が英語で言う材料を、我先にと持ってきてくれます。いつもこうだといいけどなあ(苦笑)。
そうそう、今日はcookingしながら、Rちゃん(入会2ヶ月半)と英語で会話しちゃいました。電子レンジのドアが開け放しになっていたので、
私：Close the door.
Rちゃん：Sure.
私：Thank you!
Rちゃん：You're welcom.
Y君：英語で話ししてる!!
松香の２行会話の成果が、こんな所に出てきていますねえ(にっこり)。Rちゃんはお家でお母さんと練習を重ねています。継続は力なり、ですね。
皆、片づけも率先してやってくれます。お家でもお手伝いをしているというY君は、今日も洗い場にたって、ボウルだのお皿だのきれ〜いに洗ってくれました(感心)。そして一言「大人になったら、プーコのとこに来てお皿洗ってあげるよ。」。思わずじ〜ん(涙)。「I'ｍ happy to hear that!! 超うれしい〜!!」
お皿ふきを手伝ってくれたRちゃん、本読みの時、一番後ろになって見づらかったのに文句を言わなかったMちゃん。英語の進歩はもちろん、毎回の心の成長を見るのが何よりの楽しみかな。
