ひとりひとりが☆スター
「May I come in!!」
おっ、今日もR君一番乗り。
「You're the first.(一番ね。)」というと、うれしそうににこにこ。
いつも誰よりも早く来て自分の近況を知らせてくれる。そして彼の一番乗りの目的は、ホームワークの本読みをチェックしてもらい合格のサインをgetすること!!
R君、レベル1の本読みを早々と修了し、レベル2へと進んでいる。そして、このクラスはR君だけでなく、他の子もほとんどレベル2へと進んできている。
そもそもレベル1は1年間で修了すればOKなのだ。しかし、このクラス、皆がはりきっている。
クラス内のライバル意識もあるのだろうが、それにましても、自分がどんどん先へ進んで行ける、という「達成感」が彼らをプッシュしているように思う。
「達成」すると「自信」が出る、「自信」が出るから「やる気」が起こる。「やる気」が起こるから「練習」する。「練習」するから「達成」する。一連のサイクルがひとりひとりに出てきているようだ。
もちろん親のサポートもある。M君は毎晩就寝前にコンピュータで音声を聞いて練習しているそうだ。道理で発音、流ちょうさが身についている。学校では英語の先生から褒められ、模範生として活躍しているそう。
英語の先生から「どこで習ってるの？すごいね。」と言われたとか(うれし涙)。ちなみにその先生、松香フォニックスの講師として全国を渡り歩いてる方だと思うのですが。
ひとりひとりが☆スターだね!!
