Easter Egg
本日は今年初、Easter Egg(イースターエッグ)を作りました!!
本物のタマゴをboil(茹で)してfood color(食紅)で染めて作ります。
MちゃんとY君は、昨年からの経験者。Rちゃんは今年初めてなのでちょっと不安そう。
でも、しっかりレシピを見て順番を確認し、ひとつづつクリア。
超簡単に作れるのですが、こどもたちにとっては、熱いお湯からタマゴを出すことが、まず一大事(笑)。そんなに慎重にならなくても…(汗)と思うのですが、彼らにとってはミスは許されない大事な場面。なぜって失敗してタマゴが割れたら、自分の分が無くなってしまうからです。
Rちゃんは有に2分以上どうしようか考えながら、タマゴをカップに移していました。
私はこんな時、
「Think about it by yourself!!(自分で考えてね〜。)」
といって、じっと見守っています。決して意地悪なわけではないのですよ〜(汗)。
なぜって、何でも与えてしまうと、「受け身」でしか事に取り組めない人間になってしまう、と考えているからです。
それに、苦労したことって、すっごく思い出に残りますよね。あのときプーコが何も言わず、自分たちでレシピを見ながらやったんだって。自信にもつながっていきます。
私も、使える頭を使っていかないと…ぼけちゃいます〜(激汗)。

早速 次の日に 弟と二人でおつかいに行き、たまごを買ってくると、せっせとEaster Egg 作っていました。
4個もゆでると、染めの色が少し足りなかったのか、薄い黄色に染まったのですが、それでも ポスカ で 思い思いの絵を描き描き!
かわいいEaster Eggが 出来上がりました。
でも、その後、おなかが空いてパクリと食べてしまったMです! (笑)
