7 day's Book
小学1年生レッスンでは、曜日と食べ物を結びつけてオリジナル本を作りました。
「Eating the Alphabet」という本から好きな果物や野菜を選んでもらい、それぞれの曜日にその絵を描いていってもらいます。前回のレッスンでRちゃんは作業終了。MちゃんはSaturdayを残すのみとなりました。
Eating the Alphabet
表紙には「7 day's Book」というタイトルと自分の名前を。
開いた裏ページから「Sunday」が始まります。
「I eat one apple on Sunday.(日曜日に１個リンゴを食べます)」はRちゃん。
私がてんてんで書いた文字をトレースし、食べたい果物を選んで描いてあります。曜日が進む毎に食べるものの数がひとつづつ増えていくので、単数、複数を意識しながら読むことになります。
Mちゃんが、最後のページを仕上げている間、Rちゃんは本読みをしました。大きい声で複数の「s(ズ)」を意識して一生懸命読んでくれました。
Mちゃんも作業終了後、一緒に読みました。loquat(ビワ)というも、こんな時だからこそ登場する聞き慣れない果物ですね。
今日はそれぞれお家に持って帰って家族に披露してもらいますが、次週また持ってきてもらって、「こども図書」に置いてもらいます。
「こども図書」はこどもたちがレッスン中に作ったオリジナルBookを置くところ。目下３冊だけですが、増やしていく予定です。
