clap game
アルファベットで楽しく遊ぶclap game(手たたきゲーム)を小学１年生クラスで行いました。
実は「アルファベットに親しむ」という目的で、以前(年長)から何度かこのゲームで遊んでいました。
でも、年長さんとの大きな違いは、「アルファベットが読める」という目的に変わったことです。
既に小学生になったときから、「アルファベットを読む」というホームワークが課せられます。これをクリアしていかないと、後に学ぶフォニックスが、ちんぷんかんぷんになってしまうからです。
なので、二人ともアルファベットをより身近に、学びの基礎として取り入れるようになっていました。
そこで行ったこのclap gameは、今日の二人にとって楽しいゲームになったようです。やはり、自分がこつこつやってきてわかってきた頃、って楽しいですものね。
ゲームは簡単。色分けされたアルファベットチャートを用意し(例えば母音が赤)、アルファベットソングに合わせ、選んだ色だけclap(手を叩く)する、というもの。
今日はちょっと複雑に、2色を選び、シェアリングで入ってきたお母さんと一緒にやりました。お母さんと一緒というのが、また一層うれしくて、Mちゃん、Rちゃんとも、とっても楽しそうに(そして完璧に)clapしていました。
最初は出来ないのは、誰でも当然です。それを継続して行うことで、出来るという自信にが起こり、楽しいという気持ちが沸いてくるのだと思います。
Mちゃん、Rちゃんが「学童でも英語を使っているんだよ。」と自慢げに話してくれました(笑)。それは、色であったり、歌であったり、踊りであったり…するようです。
英語が生活を楽しくしてくれる、そんな存在…なんですね。
